Strategic Direction Through Entrepreneurship and Business Models

Abstract

This article proposes a bibliographic review of the schools of strategic management, as well as the perspectives of entrepreneurship and the proposals of business models that emerge in a context of technological changes and markets. The general objective of this research is to differentiate the elements of strategic management through the perspectives that describe entrepreneurship and the characteristics of business models. The method comprises a basic research that determines a theoretical framework to achieve the proposed objective. As part of the conclusions it is highlighted that the strategies are the causes of the relationship between entrepreneurship and the innovation of the business models, since the gestation stage of the enterprise allows to glimpse the type of business model that is intended to be established based on the nature of strategic management trends that provides a framework key reference to understand the evolution of strategic thinking.
